Tel Aviv Dance Festival presents a new work by Israeli choreographer Lior Tavori. Supported by MART

Summer and winter, seasons and holidays. Not everyone will be taken to the future. Crust is a work about Israel and the world, twenty-twenty-four. Meeting — glance — disconnection. Penetrating eyes. Red, dense smoke obscures the vision. Forbidden pleasure appears. Intrusion into territory with unclear boundaries.

About Lior Tavori

Israeli choreographer Lior Tavori is the founder and artistic director of Lior Tavori Dance Company in Tel Aviv. His work is characterized by passion and sexuality and shows the animal side of man. He likes to push the boundaries of dance, combining innovation, emotion, and technical precision.

In recent years, he has created works for dance companies worldwide, including Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, Munich National Ballet, Quorum Ballet Dance Company, Lisbon; Chongqing Ballet, China; and Guangzhou Opera House, China. Tavori created dance works for Curtain Up Festival in 2019, 2020, and 2021. His works received numerous awards in Israel and have been performed on countless stages worldwide: China, Italy, Spain, the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Georgia, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Germany, and Portugal, among others.
